What to Expect at Your First Visit

When you schedule your first appointment with Dr. Claudia Zavala, DC, you can expect a thorough and focused evaluation from start to finish. Your initial visit begins with a detailed conversation about your health history, current symptoms, activity level, and personal goals. This helps your provider understand the full picture before any hands-on assessment begins.

From there, Dr. will perform a comprehensive physical evaluation, including movement screening, strength testing, and targeted orthopedic assessments relevant to your condition. Every finding is explained clearly so you understand exactly what is happening in your body and why.

Before you leave, you will have a personalized treatment plan outlining your diagnosis, recommended interventions, visit frequency, and realistic timelines for recovery. Most patients begin hands-on treatment during their very first session. Follow-up visits are structured to build on each prior session, with measurable benchmarks tracked along the way so you can see your progress in real time.
